Atlanta, Oct 11 (EFE).- Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is on the injured list once again, missing practice due to a foot injury.

The 26-year-old Freeman missed practice on Wednesday because of a bone contusion, the Falcons said.

The former Florida State University and Miami Central Senior High School star missed three games this season due to a knee injury he suffered in the first game of the season.

The star running back resumed practicing late last week and played in the Falcons' loss to Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Freeman rushed for 41 yards on 10 carries against the Steelers, playing on 28 snaps.

In 2017, Freeman rushed for 865 yards for the Falcons.

Freeman has averaged 4.9 yards per carry this season in limited action, the highest average in his career.

The Falcons will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend, but it is not clear whether Freeman will be able to play.
