Brooks Koepka survives Tiger Woods' attack, wins PGA Championship

    St. Louis, USA, Aug 12 (EFE).- American professional golfer Brooks Koepka on Sunday won the 2018 Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Championship, held in Bellerive Country Club, in St. Louis, Missouri.

    Finishing with 16 under, Koepka managed to survive the attack from legendary 42-year-old golfer American golfer Tiger Woods, who finished at 14 under and came second.

    In third place was Australian Adam Scott with 13 under.

    After two years of absence from the PGA Championship as a result of injuries, Woods regained his stamina, coming very close to winning his 15th Major golf title.

    Spaniards Jon Rahm and Rafa Cabrera finished in the top 10. Rahm finished with a score of 11-under par, five strokes away from the winner of the tournament, while Cabrera Bello finished with 9-under par, 10th place in the standings.
